I washed the chicken legs and left them to dry.

I mixed the oil with all the spices, then I added the chicken legs, I mixed well and I put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

I wrapped each chicken leg in bacon, put them in a heat-resistant dish, added water and put in the oven for an hour or so, until they were ready.

To prepare this recipe, you need the following ingredients:

  • 300 g of thin strips of bacon
  • 9 chicken breasts
  • 50 ml of cold pressed rapeseed oil
  • salt and pepper
  • the juice of half a lemon
  • 3-4 young carrots, clean and cut into slices
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • sweet paprika
  • a clove of garlic (optional)
  • a large chopped onion julienne or a leek stalk - only white part, cut into rounds (optional).

Make an emulsion of mustard, oil, salt and pepper and lemon juice.

Put the washed and drained thighs in a bowl, over which the previously prepared mixture is poured. Grease all the thighs well with this sauce, cover the bowl and let it cool for 2 hours, or overnight.

Wrap the chicken legs with bacon and place in a pan. Grease each leg with the sauce in which they were marinated, add the carrot, onion and garlic.

Pour the rest of the marinade into the pan, add a cup of water, sprinkle with paprika. Cover the tray with aluminum foil (or even better, with baking paper), drilled in 4-5 places, and put in the preheated oven at 220ºC for about 80 minutes.

Then take the foil down and leave the tray in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

At the end, the bacon should be slightly browned and the carrot well penetrated.

* If you use garlic, you can clean the puppies or you can just peel them and leave them whole, in the shell. When baked, if you lightly press on the peel, it will come out easily, like a paste.

* The role of bacon is to keep the thighs tender and juicy during baking, but also to give them extra flavor.

Method of preparation:

  1. When preparing the liver, add salt when it is ready. If you add from the beginning, the liver will harden.
  2. It is good to add a little water to the pan in which you make the liver, if you make it in oil and not in butter. That way it will boil a little and will be softer.

Ingredients: 150 g mushrooms, 100 g spinach, juice from 2 lemons, 2 cloves of garlic, crushed, 4 boneless upper chicken legs, 4 slices of smoked bacon, 50g butter, 50g sour cream.

Method of preparation: Fry the mushrooms in butter together with the crushed garlic, then add the washed and sliced ​​spinach, add the sour cream and mix with the salt and pepper, to taste, for 5 minutes on low heat.

The four boneless chicken legs will be left in the juice from the two lemons, they will be seasoned with salt and pepper, after which they will be filled with the composition of mushrooms with spinach and rolls will be made. We cover them with slices of smoked bacon and they will be placed in a tray, after which they will be sprinkled with some olive oil, and before inserting the tray in the hot oven we will place a small cube of butter on them.

Place in a well-heated oven at 200 degrees Celsius and leave for about 35 minutes. It can be served cold or hot with different garnishes, sweet or spicy sauces!

I take this opportunity to "insinuate" a culinary term less used in restaurant menus. To "bard" means to wrap a piece of lean meat with bacon, or bacon, to prevent it from drying out during cooking. The term comes, of course, from French.

Instructions:
Heat the oven grill.
